[ The fact that he was lingering there didn’t bother her. She was distracted with getting the tea. “Kay! I only have one kind, though. It’s good, though! I’m sure you’ll like it.” She couldn’t really afford much, and the box was almost empty. Mimi would have to buy a new one whenever she could.
As soon as she’s done, she looks over at him. Suddenly he’s in the kitchen, which she wasn’t really expecting. “Yep! You want to see her?” The sound of the boiling water was in the background, faint, but getting louder. Palmon was most likely sleeping, but Mimi had a feeling she’d be up soon. ]
Taker blinked at the offer and then shrugged a little, “Only if she’s around.” He didn’t want to bother Palmon if the digimon was busy or anything. He smiled a little and then glanced around the apartment again. “You look like you’re doing pretty well for yourself,” he said quietly. It was a lame sentence but it was at least something to get the conversation started.
He was not a fan of these first get meetings he realized. He was much to awkward the whole time. He hoped that eventually it would get better. It did not help that Mimi was someone he had never been that close to in the end, compared to some of the other digidestined at least.
