Saturday / July 14 / 3:10am - Prison Cell
Yamato’s everything hurt. He could feel his bandages getting wet with blood already at that small movement of him getting up. It wasn’t too much, though. It wasn’t like they were already soaked through. At least, not as far as he could tell.
Once again, he didn’t answer Takeru. Instead, he walked toward the bars of their cell and looked out as much as he could. It was dark in the prison, so he could barely see what was in front of him. Honestly, he could barely see Takeru. Yamato wasn’t sure what he was expecting to find as he looked out of their cell, but he hoped he would get some sort of idea to get them out.
He sighed. There was nothing that he could see. Maybe it was night time? That was probably it. In the morning, if he wasn’t dragged out again, he would probably be able to get a better look at what was in the hall way, and then perhaps they’d be able to break out once it got dark again.
Yamato stepped away from the bars and sat down again against the wall. He was quiet for a while before he said suddenly, “How are you feeling?”
Takeru frowned when Yamato never answered his question. His eyes followed the older man around the room for a little while but finally he looked away. He let out a bit of a sigh and shook his head. It was seeming like it was pointless to even try to talk to Yamato, at least not until he wanted to talk. He decided he would just have to wait.
He didn’t react right away when Yamato finally asked him a question. He shrugged eventually, “I’m fine.” He was still sick sure but it was much better than it had been before he’d been captured. He was hungry and thirsty but he couldn’t really do anything about that so he chose to ignore it.
He had been busy trying to think of ways out of here. He didn’t know if the resistance group would come to his rescue this time. They might not know he was missing. The only thing he had thought of so far was that the next time they came to take one of them away for torture or whatever he had to make sure that it was him. If he could just be noticed than there was a higher chance of them getting rescued, the resistance group had ears in tons of organizations. So far Takeru had been isolated and he intended to change that if he could.
