Saturday / July 14 / 3:10am - Prison Cell
Yamato didn’t see Takeru’s smile toward him. He was letting his hair, which was loose for a change, fall into a curtain that hid his face. If he had seen the smile, he probably would have felt a little better. Instead he simply sat there, trying to figure out why Takeru didn’t see the situation the way he did. But he was too exhausted to try and explain or fight it. So he just resigned and let Takeru win. He’d do it his brother’s way simply because he didn’t have the strength at that moment to protest.
“And?” he said quietly. Yeah, he sort of figured staying was something his brother wanted him to do once they got out.
Yamato’s questioning voice stopped him from saying anything else right away. All of a sudden Takeru realized how much he hated this. He could tell that his brother had just given in to what Takeru wanted for now. But it felt cheap somehow. It was supposed to be harder than this. He groaned a little and shook his head. He couldn’t do this any more right now. Not when Yamato was so…weak, in response.
“Just forget about it right now. We can talk about it later,” he murmured. “We should try to get some sleep or something,” he added, turning away from Yamato and trying to find a comfortable place on the floor. Not that he thought that he would sleep but he was sure Yamato needed it. He seemed exhausted.
